Week 40

Regardless of what we believe in terms of religion, most of us can agree that human beings have a built-in success mechanism that drives us to accomplish goals, be successful, and continually pursue improvements in quality of life. For man, to live should mean more than mere survival like in the animal kingdom. Man has certain emotional and spiritual needs.
This success or spiritual mechanism is what drives us to go to church, worship, pray, and get involved in charity and service in our community. It is also what drives us to run a business, get solutions to problems, invent, or achieve success in any activity.
Our problem is that sometimes we can lose focus on these inner core beliefs and success mechanism because we are distracted by problems, temptations, or other societal influences that can impede us from accomplishing our goals. We also too often judge others based on prejudices, misconceptions, or different belief systems instead of focusing first on what we have in common.
If you haven't established your core beliefs or at least written them down then now is the time!
